50 CENT AND G UNIT MUSIC REVIEWS |
|||||||||||
01. G-Unit The intro features a beat laced by Hi Tek and a catchy chorus. I'm not really feeling 50's flow on this track as much. Young Buck & Lloyd Banks come off average on here.
Dope Beat provided by the mastermind Dr Dre & the skilled former Roots pianist, Scott Storch. Everyone's flow is on point! Watch out for the video hitting MTV shortly.
The track starts off with a Scarface sample. Not a very unique idea on this one, considering Tupac did the same exact concept way back for "Me and My Girlfriend". Beat could of been better as well. Decent Track overall.
This track is alright. Beat is good but not feeling 50's flow on this one too much.
First single off the album with a phat beat. Good single choice, 50's flow comes off proper and so does Young Buck's.
A track for the ladies featuring Joe on the chorus. Smooth laid back beat, everyone comes off dope on this one with good flow and delivery.
Funky beat! I like the way 50 flows on this one and Tony Yayo comes off good. Free Yayo!!!
I'm not really feeling this track.
Young Buck's solo record. Simply dope flow, "Juvi left me in California/I Don't respect that/I love him too much to beef so I'ma accept that" .... Who cares about Juvenile anyways? His days are over as far as I'm concerned (for now atleast). Its time for Young Buck to get his shine on!
This is one of my favorite records on the album. It seems that Hi Tek's beat style is kind of similar to Dr Dre. Could Dr Dre be possibly getting Hi Tek on his production team in the future? Could be an interesting combination.
50Cent said in multiple interviews that this is his favorite record on the album and he made a big deal about it. Personally I think that this track is decent, I don't see anything that special about it. Average.
Not Feeling this at all, don't like the way 50 comes off on this one.
Dope sample used on this
beat and a phat bass line. Young Buck and Lloyd banks come off good and talk
about shooting shit up. 14. Beg For Mercy Album title track - I like Lloyd Bank's flow on here and Young Buck's as well. Beat is decent.
Dr Dre produced track, not my favorite song on the album but its not bad either. I liked it better when I first heard it but got tired of this one pretty quick.
Don't like how 50 comes off on this song too much. I tried to give it a chance but I'm still not feeling it.
This is another one of my favorite records on the album. Probably one of the best beats in my opinion. Did you guys catch the Nas Diss on this one?
An older G Unit record used as a bonus on here. The original record's Ja Rule, Charli Baltimore references have been taken out at the end of the track. Overall Summary: Beg For Mercy overall was a good album. Just like 50 Cent's 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' release, this record took some time to grow on me. I'm a little upset that there were no appearances by Eminem on here after he did his classic verse on "Patiently Waiting". The beats weren't as good as the previous 50Cent album but still a solid release by the G Unit Crew. Favorite beats on here include tracks produced by Hi-Tek and ofcourse Dr Dre. G G G UNIT!!! Want to review this record? Send it in and we'll post it up!
